Spring 2026 Courses

All courses are small (6-10 students) and include weekly homework focused on challenging problem solving and exploration. See the course list for information on the courses and to determine which level is appropriate for you.

Spring 2026 courses will be N series. Topics include mathematical induction and recursion, sequences and series in algebra and combinatorics, numbers and ways of representing them (digits, factoring, divisibility, and in advanced classes, quadratic reciprocity), and topics related to triangle geometry.

Registration is open until December 31.

Course 2N

Teacher – Diego Eloi

Tuesday 7:30-8:30 ET / 4:30-5:30 PT
February 3 – April 28
12 weeks, 1 hour / week
no class February 17

$1,080 ($90/hour)

Level 2 courses are designed for students who love math and are looking for a deeper understanding of middle school level mathematics. Students who sign up for this course are confident with arithmetic and pre-algebra, have some experience in algebra, but may not have as much exposure to proofs or problem solving.

Course 3N

Teacher – John Berman

Thursday 6:30-7:30 ET / 3:30-4:30 PT
February 5 – April 30
12 weeks, 1 hour / week
no class February 26

$1,080 ($90/hour)

Level 3 courses are designed for students who love math and are looking for a deeper understanding of high school level mathematics. Students who sign up for this course are fluent in arithmetic and algebra and have some background in problem solving and the ideas of proof.

2N content may include:

  • logic puzzles
  • pattern recognition
  • Fibonacci numbers and recursion
  • properties of Pascal’s triangle
  • puzzles involving digits
  • factoring and divisibility
  • triangles and polygons

3N content may include:

  • logic and induction
  • sequences and series
  • recursion
  • algebraic and combinatorial identities
  • representations of numbers
  • factoring and divisibility
  • triangle geometry

Course 4N

Teacher – John Berman

Friday 7:30-9:00 ET / 4:30-6:00 PT
February 6 – May 1
12 weeks, 1.5 hour / week
no class February 27

$1,260 ($70/hour)

Level 4 courses represent GeodeMath’s vision for the pinnacle of a general education in non-calculus-based math for future leaders in mathematics and adjacent fields. Students who sign up for this course have experience in problem solving and understanding of basic proof techniques (such as induction and proof by contradiction). They have distinguished themselves in GeodeMath courses, by qualifying for AIME, or in other comparable programs.

Course 5N

Teacher – John Berman

Thursday 7:45-9:15 ET / 4:45-6:15 PT
January 29 – May 7
14 weeks, 1.5 hour / week
no class February 26

$1,260 ($60/hour)

Level 5 courses are very difficult. Students will be well-prepared to take math olympiads, pursue research projects, or study math at the most challenging universities. Students who sign up for this course can write good proofs and have very strong problem solving ability (for example at the level of AIME 6-12).

4N content may include:

  • induction and extremal principle
  • sequences and series
  • recursion
  • combinatorial sums, roots of unity
  • symmetry in algebra
  • problem solving with representations of numbers
  • advanced factoring and divisibility
  • triangle centers and special configurations

5N content may include:

  • advanced induction strategy
  • problem solving with sequences and recursion
  • combinatorial sums, roots of unity
  • symmetry in algebra
  • quadratic congruences, reciprocity
  • problem solving with triangle centers and special configurations

Fall 2026 Courses

Fall 2026 courses will be E series. Topics include mathematical writing, complex numbers and trigonometry, modular arithmetic, counting and probability, analytic geometry, and others.
